My own two cents: When you step on multiple boats, you're not LOVING anyone. Just like today's pop songs about falling in "love" with other people's girlfriend, or another person, etc... I'm sorry, but our modern culture is totally mixing up "love" and "lust". Of course, who am I to campaign for the correct use of the word "love" anyway? :)

LUST was not oppressed. It's simply stopped by something called "virtue" which is decreasing in importance over the centuries... ironically we call that advancement. ;)

The best way to prevent "外遇", if one think that it's unavoidable, is to allow polygomy, where one can have as many partners as one wishes. Yet that is not the trend, which must mean something.

A person's feeling, especially love, is not something that should be taken lightly and played with. That's my 2 cents. If it is so painful that one can't help lusting after another person, then perhaps one's partner is of lesser importance and should be dealt with accordingly, with respect and honesty.

To argue that such behaviour is the norm... In which case the council would like to move to strike the notion that monogomy is the norm behaviour of Homo sapiens. The council then would like to put forth a motion to announce to the world that monogomy is NOT the natural behaviour of of Homo erectus telemarketus, Australopithecus telemarketus, Homo hablis telemarketus, and so on.

Never mix biology and law... they can get troublesome ;)
